As part of SACF’s Selective Inclusion Heritage Project, Dr Sumita Mukherjee, Associate Professor in Modern History at the University of Bristol, will make a Zoom presentation titled: “Mrs Lolita Roy & Indian Suffragettes in London” on Thursday 7 October 2021 at 2 pm.
Dr Mukherjee will unravel the fascinating story of how Mrs Roy worked with Princess Sophia Duleep Singh, a daughter of Maharaja Duleep Singh, and other Suffragettes in the early 20th century.
